Left Thermo Castâ„¢ Thumb Abduction Splint. For rigid immobilization following sprains and breaks, and for protection against further trauma and re-injury. Ideal for "gamekeeper's thumb" and for hockey use (can be worn inside glove). Sized according to metaphalanged circumference (circumference around the hand).
Thermo Cast - Constructed of lightweight, low density polyethylene laminated to a closed cell foam. Can be easily modified with a heat gun, cast saw or scissors. Thermo Casts are radiolucent and fully ventilated. They are also water resistant and easy to clean. Simple cinch-pull hook 'n pile closure accommodates swelling and edema. Can be worn with a stockinette.
