Right Wrist Hand Thermo Castâ„¢. This lightweight splint is fully adjustable in four sizes. Indications for use include stabilization of minor distal forearm and proximal metacarpal fractures, and immobilization following carpal tunnel repair and post colles fracture. Should be worn with a stockinette (two included with brace). Sized according to metaphalanged circumference (circumference around the hand).
Thermo Cast - Constructed of lightweight, low density polyethylene laminated to a closed cell foam. Can be easily modified with a heat gun, cast saw or scissors. Thermo Casts are radiolucent and fully ventilated. They are also water resistant and easy to clean. Simple cinch-pull hook 'n pile closure accommodates swelling and edema.
