Right Hallux-Valgus Splint (Bunion Splint). Simple lever principle gently aligns
hallux towards its natural position. Clear plastic arm with thick foam
padding at points of contact prevent any discomfort. Hook 'n pile loop-
and-lock band supplies variable pressure to the hallux and is adjustable
to patient tolerance. Due to the variety of foot types, the cupped forepart
of the arm may vary in length at the big toe. This variation does not
impair its effectiveness. Action of the splint is constant regardless of the
arm length. Use is indicated for non-ambulatory wear as an aid to
promote hallux alignment, and to counteract muscular stress found with
rheumatoid arthritis and spastic paralysis. Sized according to shoe size.
