If you've had an accident or suffered a sports injury that has left you with damaged knees which are prone to hyperextension, you are likely to benefit from the structural support offered by an Airprene Wraparound Extension Control Knee Orthosis device. The control provided by supportive measures like this mean that you can rest assured that you've minimized your risk of further injury from having overextended your knee joint.

This device gives your knee joint support from the medial to lateral side, in other words the inside to outside of the joint. You can even add a hinge pin to alter the level of extension permitted. When you insert the hinge pin provided, you can control the extension of your knee at angles of 0, 15, 30 or 45 degrees. The hinges are made from stainless steel for durability and are fully encased in Airprene pockets to provide the ultimate level of comfort. Airprene was developed according to a patented process involving advanced neoprene production methods, offering you the latest in material technology.

In addition, there are two wraparound control straps which compress the knee all the way around to give the highest amount of stability while still facilitating as much movement as you're capable of. These 2" inch wide straps are secured by hook and pile fasteners to make sure that the whole device stays in place no matter what activity you get up to.

This model is similar to model 639, except that it has a length of 12", benefits from a wraparound design and does not come with a horseshoe pad.
