If you've injured your knee joint as a result of a twisting motion typical of sports like soccer, you know how important it is for the knee to be able to rotate to some degree in order for you to maintain a full range of motion in your legs. This crisscross hinged knee stabilizer has been expertly designed specifically for those who have twisted their knee a little too far and are looking for quality support to enable them to keep on moving.

This knee stabilizer consists of two crisscross straps which can be attached above the kneecap, or patella, by a hook and pile fastener. Another set of two crisscross straps can be attached below the kneecap. These 2" wide elasticated straps allow you to secure your knee joint in place no matter what its size or shape. Both sides are manufactured with an 1/8" neoprene rubber coating with a nylon laminate to ensure durability and longevity.

The straps cross over one another at the midpoint of either side of the knee to boost stability as the joint rotates. As stability of the knee joint is the number one purpose of any hinged knee stabilizer, this product has been specially manufactured with a reinforced neoprene layer that fits over the kneecap. It also has steel hinges to prevent hyperextension of the knee and so it reduces the likelihood of further injury and damage to the joint.

The hook and pile fasteners make sure that the whole construct stays intact around your knee, regardless of the movements you make, thus facilitating maximum support levels. For additional comfort, the convertible patella pad is made of exposed orthopedic felt. This pad can be adapted to fit your exact requirements and can be configured to create medial to lateral as well as superior to inferior horseshoe shapes.

These crisscross hinged knee stabilizers can be purchased in a range of sizes. All you have to do is measure the circumference of your knee to be sure of a perfect fit.

Constructed of 1/8" neoprene rubber with nylon laminate on both sides. Four 2"-wide elastic crisscross straps. Two crisscross straps attach with hook 'n pile above patella and two attach below. Straps crisscross at midpoint on either side of patella to enhance rotational stability. Other features include reinforced neoprene around the patella, steel hyperextension hinges, hook 'n pile retaining cinch straps and convertible patella pad of exposed orthopedic felt. Patella pad is adaptable for medial/lateral or superior/inferior horseshoe configurations. Sized according to knee circumference.
