L8310

The medical billing code L8310 is the code assigned to hernia trusses that meet certain requirements. The medical billing code allows that insurance company to identify what kind of treatment the patient is receiving, so they will know how much to pay out on the bill. THe L8310 billing code is used to identify a hernia truss with two sides. Having the hernia pads on both the left and the right side allows hernias to be treated on either, or both sides.

All L8310 hernia trusses carried by freeman manufacturing also come with leg straps to keep the truss in place. This makes day-to-day movement and activities easier without the brace slipping out of place.
