This popular cervical collar has a molded Plastazote foam body, leaving it lightweight and less of a burden to your neck. The foam body includes rigid plastic posts at the occipital and mandibular regions, at the back of your neck and under your chin respectively. These posts give you the extra physical support you need while the foam body keeps the weight down and the convenience and comfort up.

This cervical collar has been designed to fit your neck perfectly owing to its contoured chin and shoulder sections. Of course, it is also perforated so that you can prevent the buildup of itch-inducing sweat and debris.

You're probably quite used to the fact that you have to go for regular medical checkups, including X-ray and CT scans. With this scenario in mind, the materials used have been deliberately chosen for their radiolucent properties. In other words, you won't have to take off a single thing as your cervical collar lets X-rays right through so your doctor see everything they need.
