CASH Orthosis.

CASH is short for Cruciform Anterior Spinal Hyperextension which is the prevention of potentially harmful movements of the body after a major surgery following a surgical procedure or traumatic event. The need for this product is often proceeded by treatment of fractures of the T6 and L3, possibly involving any of the following: thoracic/lumbar fusion, laminectomy or discectomy, compression fractures, degenerative disc disease, osteoporosis, single column spinal instability immobilization, and facet syndrome. This product delivers a very specific need for patients in search of like devices. There are a few things that set this one apart from others.

Universally sized.
This superior design with adjustments allows for it to fit a wider range of patients. The size allowances are for waists 24 1/2” to 48” with the ability to purchase an alternative strap that would allow for a different sized patient to use the same device. The same goes for it's bars, which come with a standard bar adjustments, for the vertical bar an achievable adjustment of 13” to 18 3/4” (from the bottom of the pelvic pad to the top of the sternal pad) and for the horizontal bar an achievable adjustment o 11 1/4” to 13 1/2” (from slot to slot on side pads)

Additional possible personalization.
The Polyethylene pads can be cut and molded for a precision fit and comfort of the user.

Lightweight and comfortable.
When compared to alternative devices on the market, by appearance only you can see it's superior comfort than those of older design or of those that have two breast contact pads rather than one. A lightweight device is desirable for ease of movement and also for appearance, a priority among users so they are able to feel as normal as possible and accomplish as much as possible in their daily lives as they used to.

The sleekest of appearances.
With the least amount of parts, adjustments and color use possible this maybe the sleekest looking CASH orthosis available.

Quality materials.
It's frame is made of aluminum and it's pads (pelvic, sternal and side pads) are made of molded polyethylene that like previously mentioned are able to be cut or molded to the patient to further customize their experience with the device.
