Cast Sock. Round Toe, Double Ply. Prosthetic cast socks provide a smooth surface for plaster casting while protecting the residual limb from contact with plaster material. Cast socks are also used underneath stump socks as a filler. When the stump periodically shrinks, one or two cast socks add just enough girth for the prosthesis to fit comfortably. Made from combed natural cotton yarn for smooth surface texture. Fine gauge tubular knit gives maximum stretch in width and length. The toe is made with a stretch stitched seam. Priced per dozen.
